Drift vs. Chatra vs. Itelliticks

Over the past three months, I have worked on a couple of different projects showing how and why I would set up a chatbot for different companies. Chatbots are an exceptional way to encourage customers to reach out to you and your company and start building a relationship. It’s an excellent way to provide a resource for interested clients to get all the information they need before deciding to purchase your project or service.

In my opinion, there is no good reason not to have a chatbot set up on your website.

So which one is the best?

Honestly, all three of these are super easy to use, no coding necessary, compatible with all the most popular website builders, and have free versions.

You can’t go wrong with any of these softwares but I wanted to give a quick rundown of what sets each one apart and provide my personal opinion on which one I enjoyed working with the most.

Drift

Drift was the software I used to create my first ever chatbot for a website. What’s cool about Drift is the way it retains visitor information and creates leads. If you’re looking for a software that has a little bit more of a sales focus, Drift is the way to go. You can create automated responses for the chatbot or respond to inquiries yourself.

Chatra

The second conversational marketing software that I learned was Chatra. The thing that stood out to me about Chatra is being able to easily switch between online and offline mode. If you’re offline, Chatra sends a message letting the visitor know you’re offline or it’s after hours and that they can ask their question and provide an email and someone will get back to them as soon as possible.

One small downside to Chatra is that it doesn’t integrate with as many apps as the other two. However, I didn’t mind this as I only needed it to be compatible with Wix.

Intelliticks

Intelliticks was my favorite of the three. The chatbot you create through their conversational marketing software is a hybrid. It starts out as being an AI bot until it doesn’t have the response for a customer question or statement and a human agent can then take over. This is the feature that sets Intelliticks apart and in my opinion, makes it better than the others.

Itelliticks is highly customizable. You can make your chatbot any shade of any color that you want. You can also choose an avatar or upload your own picture for the chat and create your own website playbook or Facebook playbook.

In conclusion

Chatbots are a fun way to create personalized experiences for your visitors. They offer quick solutions as opposed to being on hold over the phone. Often, if answers are too difficult to find or take too long to find, potential customers will be turned away. Having a chatbot will elevate the customer experience and drive sales.

You might think that it is overly techy or too complicated, but with any of these options, your chatbot will be up and running in just a couple of hours! If you would like assistance setting one up, I’d be more than happy to help!
